Description

One more water pics to take a gander at. I know it is a tad out of focus on the drops and I promise to work on that as soon as I have my SB600 flash fixed or replaced. ($ = Repaired flash) My set up was pretty crude. You need a tripod, a flash, an eyedropper and an inverted glass with a shallow depth on the bottom. The glass I used was a Tabasco drink glass my wonderful wife gave me (who I am not worthy to stand in the shadow of, if she reads my post). You also need a quick finger to drop the water and shoot at the correct moment; also a good size memory card helps to (as most of the shots will not be so good). If its raining where you are and you want to play around with this technique just type in “How to shoot water drops” in your favorite search engine and you will have more than you can read in a night. It is fun to play with on a rainy day. I’ve got to work on that focus just a smidge and then it will be “Spot On” Have a great evening.

It's called Photoshop. That will help out those images that need a tad bit of help. Unsharp Mask works the best. ;o) Excellent capture, nonetheless... I like such photos.

I think seeing more of the glass would be cool, with the drops,of course...you can also fine-tune your faucet to emit drops at a fairly determined rate....quick finger and memory also needed for that...cool one!
