Description

"Don't ya just hate when ya can't do a thing with your whiskers?" Florida Panther handpainted from scratch in Photoshop 6 and Painter 7 (for the fur effect) and a Wacom Intuos2 tablet. Background created in Painter using Jungle 3D nozzles from DigiArts. Comments and Suggestions are always welcome. Very very impressive Shadow. Animals such as any of the big cat family are a real challenge to the skills of ANY artist, 2D or 3D, even with a Wacom Intuos2 tablet - which by the way - you must write and tell me what you think of their new tablet.

Good expression work. For like, the first time ever, I see a cat properly expressed; most make the mistake of adding a "frown" which is a human trait, not a cat one. I like this, it's technically well done. I might suggest loosening up a bit, for an experiment. Your strokes are tight and controlled, and it looks quite nice, but you should put some of your considerable talent into a piece that's a bit "wilder" sometime, just for fun. Good work, I like this piece.
