Description

This piece is dedicated to a dear friend how lost her wonderful mare Glory this past Saturday morning; as well as to so many out there who have lost an equine soulmate. I had a dream the other night about Glory and I wanted to make a sort of "living" Zuni horse fetish to honor her. So "Spirit Horse" fly free. We will meet again someday. Production notes: Final finished size is print quality (300 dpi) at 16"x20". Daz Mil Horse posed and morphed in Poser 5, and imported into Bryce 5. Moonrose's great Equine Textures (at Daz) applied there and rendered. The background is a mix of photography and Photoshop paint work. All postworked in Photoshop CS with a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet. All the feathers etc are from a package I am thinking of working up for sale here. If that is anything any of you would be interested in let me know and I will keep developing it. Once again thanks to all of you for the wonderful support you have shown me! That is a very special gift and one I treasure greatly.

This is just superb ! I have been recently working on am image as a way to heal a terrible experience of the death of my horse when I was in my late teens. This image, though entirely different from mine, is wonderful. How gloriously beautiful an image for your friend. Losing a horse is a very hard thing to go through. We bond with them in such deep ways. I, for one, would be very interested in the package that you are thinking of putting together. Looks like a great idea from what you have shown here.
