This evokes a lot of memories in me, Gun. I see a child separated from her parents, desperate to find them because of a corrupt military force perpetrating violence on perceived enemies and innocents alike. It is a situation that is the height of inhumanity, injustice, terror, and which repeats in any number of countries in our world. Excellent theme image, sis. Hugs and love, Suzanne

Another outstanding image. This theme seems to bring out the best in you Gunsan. This also evokes memories of many nightmares I had as a child at the end of WWII in Denmark. My dreams were always filled with Nazi soldiers. I would have to climb into my parents bed after one of those. I don't think I ever saw any, but conversations were so ripe with the talk of war and instilled fear in me. How could it have been otherwise?

I see this from so many sides. Children that go missing, children experiencing the horrors of war, children experiencing abuse .. and on and on. This represents all the atrocities committed on children, at least that's my initial reaction.

Makes my neck hairs bristle to see any child flying in panic for any reason real or imaginary and today there are just too many real ones!

What cat I say, but it saddens me to see such an image. Makes me want to pick her up and keep her safe as I wrap my arms around her. You have an amazing talent, in being able to bring out feelings within us as we view your art. Excellent piece.

I see this child running from predators. There are so many sexual predators on the loose in our country. Very sad and what they do is totally sinful and horrible!

I simply see a child who has lost sight of things familiar and is overwhelmed with fear to find the security of a familiar face or place. I guess we all draw on our own memories when looking at what we see...

You have captured the child running so well she has lots of movement. How you have got the shadows there I don't know. A wonderfully done panic scene.

What a powerful image you've created here! You've truly created a dramatic tension...the ominous shadows, and this child of light in motion... Your work always 'floors me', sotnos, but this is truly a cut above...Bravo on you! ( You should be doing book covers, you know...)
