Description

The free kitchen scene was downloaded from http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=176&t=275658&highlight=kitchen Made a few materials, replaced a few parts, popped in one of my 'Liquinian' figures, added a single light source and this was the result. Cinema 9.6 and Maxwell Render 1.5.1 used Thank you for taking a look.

The materials and quality of the GI look very good, but the size of the presentation makes scrutiny of these things a little difficult. From what I can see, however, the distribution of light is just about perfect, except I'm expecting to see some of the shadowed corner areas receiving a little more reflective gi bounces and some surfaces getting reflective caustics (considering the amount of apparent reflective surfaces in the scene), but that's being extra picky, and probably not something to be concerned with. I really like that metallic figure... a little creepy, but very cool.

Nicely lit scene. I would have put an apron on the Liquinian and had her/him mopping the floor.

Nice work. I agree though, it seems just ever so slightly out of focus. Nice to see the liquid figure. I only came across them the other day for the first time.

Wonderful scene and most excellent render! You really master Maxwell! Nice to have the Liquidian in the scene, really good idea (could be a great alternative to a watermark for You, fitting role ;^)!!!).
