To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

Fantastic image, the title fits perfectly well and is very evocative of what I call the power mixed with the fragility of women (but also for every human (man or woman... Man has more difficulties to accept it, but its a fact) Your texture works are always so magic.

Oh wow I so can not believe I missed commenting on this one! I must have been sick! I totally love it! Reminds me a bit of one of those Mother Earth sort of landscape images, cause I can sort of water, and trees, and clouds, and mountains! And you have to admit the way we have been polluting our world that poor Mother Earth definite has some cracks in the armor these days!

First and most important, Happy Belated Birthday! May the joys of your day carry you through the year ahead, may good fortune follow you, and run ahead of you, making the way smooth through the year. I just found out it was your birthday yesterday while catching up with comments, who's gallery did I see the mention of your birthday? Doesn't matter .. Belated birthday wishes anyway, to extend the celebration a bit more! Love the texture of this, it looks as if you had it done on a throw, you know the ones they sell now that you can have photos imprinted on? And love the message, the reminder that there are chinks in everyone's armor, and sometimes they cause the armor to crack and fail, exposing us to the light of the sun!
