Il y a plein de marchés paysans trés animés autour du Lac Inlé, où en plus des Inthas, toutes les minorités ethniques sont representés.
Nous allons profiter pour manger ici. Vous pouvez chosir parmi ces gourmandises rares, que vous ne mangerez jamais ailleurs. Il y a plusieurs types d´insectes, larves, cocoons...

Around Inle Lake is full of local country markets where in addition to Inthas, all the ethnic minorities are represented.
We will profit to eat here. You can choice among these rare delicacies, which you will never eat elsewhere. There are several kinds of insects, larvae, cocoons…

I saw my son's friend eat a few moths a few weeks ago. It turned my stomach... I haven't eat'n a bug unless it burried inself in my food. The orage things here look etable... is it fruit?

Beautiful cultural images you photograph. You take up along on your journey with you. I also wonder what is in the little leaf pods,the little orange objects. I hope fruit... Beautiful work, as usual from you and your camera.

The aroma stays with you...two year later and I can still smell the insects cooking....there is nothing quite like it. I could never get past the odor to even try them. Perhaps that's a good thing! Great shot!
