I wish to give Helen(locomouse) a special thank you for being so kind as to help me figure out what I was doing wrong! You are a wonderful person and artist!
The original was of lighter brighter colors, but some of the darn colors did not look right on one layer. This is just another version with darker colors. I hope that you will enjoy it!

I think the softer colors worked out perfectly for this one, Beth! And you did a remarkable job of figuring out the steps I wrote... considering I had my left and right mouse buttons confused! : Sorry about that... ;) Lovely image, though... and I'm very pleased that I could help in some small way... :)

Oh, well, this is a fave! I love the texturing on this. I love how the smaller green spirally thingy is reflected in the huge blue spirally thingy underneath, and then in white, and then each of the colors! I love the colors you chose. Let's see, what don't I like about this .. dang if I can find anything to criticize!
