Description

Detail of a table leg, shot at my brother's house. I know, I know, I look at weird things. I think even the cat was giving me the eye when I took this picture! But just look at the richness of this old, hand-carved, polished wood. It almost glows from within. It's partly that the light at Trent's house is just so amazing. They have gold/yellow walls, wood floors, lots of natural and incandescent light. I don't think I've taken many bad shots at their place! Everything there takes on a special quality when seen through the camera's lens.

Lush rich orange reds, sharp clarity, excellent textural, lighting effects and reflectivity in this fine capture of the elegant furniture leg, Tara! It stands out well against the black background.

A beautiful sheen to this unusual shot. I can just see you on all fours taking this shot and the cat trying to help. Super texture and colouring to this lovely leg.
