Description

... juvenile male northern cardinal. I replaced the rusty perch he was on for a more appropriate one. Thanks very kindly for your views and comments!

Great capture...Juveniles of any species are always...well...scruffy and the way in which you've captured this one is utterly fantastic and nicely sensitive. This is an example of great work, in an already great gallery. Fantastic!

I would not have known that you changed the perch without you saying so Maria, He may be a tad scruffy but an excellent capture, great clarity and detail, it really shows in the feathers. Bravo!!!!! The thumb tack by the way it is a coloured plastic coat that is uneven.
