I am no longer active here. Too many restrictions and unpleasant interactions with admin.
In addition I now focus on traditional art, which is very neglected on this site.

About my Art - Watercolor, Poser &Vue I have been painting mainly with transparent watercolor on paper. Most of my paintings depict hypothetical situations and imaginary scenes, striving to capture ideas and moods rather then a resemblance to specific places or people. On many occasions more than one way forward suggest themselves either from the onset or during the painting process. I like to explore these possibilities in different paintings and thus I have several ongoing themes (Some examples of themes I worked on are shown in the image above). I started useing Poser and then Vue mainly to set up virtual models and/or scenes which are then painted in watercolor. The CG images were supposed to be only an intermediate stage, but I now got the CG bug, and I'm trying to make these images a 'product ' on their own accord. Feedback is really very important to me. I appreciate any form of it: comments on the impact the images had on you (or saying it had none), things you enjoyed, things you hated, any artistic aspects - (composition, color, lights & shadows etc.) - any technical comments( eg Poser/Vue issues) and anything else you find relevant. If you dont know a lot (or at all) about Watercolors, Poser or Vue, please dont let it deter you from leaving a comment. Just comment on what you see and what it made you feel or think. You could also ask questions, and if I know how to answer - I will.

Interesting concept :) I notice that water creates water while the celestial is the one who creates erath and solid elements on that picture... Wich is logical, since "Elohim" in the bible is a word that actually means... "The ones who came from the sky" -yep, no single god, the original creators were countless ;)

Really nicely done :) I like the co-creator concept as you might imagine, and I like the gender split, Female/Earth/Water/Blue and Male/Sky/Life(?)/Red. Nice job with the volumetrics too. Some of the ground plane is a bit grainy and you might want to either turn up antialiasing settings or run the render through the Reduce Noise filter in photoshop.

Great concept. Great image. I disagree with pjz99 regarding aliasing of the ground plane, I dont think it's noticeable, at least not to my eyes. This is just a matter of personal taste, but I would prefer if the volumetric light coming out of the sea hand would be of the same color of the sea itself, I think it would bring some balance and simmetry. Likewise the cloud of the air hand to be the same color of the corresponding light. The sea hand is obviously feminin which, of course, has a special meaning. Regarding the air hand, its gender is not clearly noticeable. It might help to convey the message if it would be more clearly masculin as, again, it would help to the simmetry and balance of the image. Also interesting to notice that the hands are not in opposing sides. They are on the same side of the image, thus really conveying the notion of co-creation. Well done and quite a good start in Vue.

If co-creation refers to creativity where more than one person is involved, then all creation is co-creation, just as Isaac Newton stated when he said he stood on the shoulders of giants. I don´t see any particular technical problem here. Anyhow, I want to say that, sometimes, without wanting it, we try to improve aspects inside an image, and what we do it is to create elements that turn away the attention of the entire work. For me, this image, as well as it is, it´s perfect. I think also that it´d be a good topic for watercolors.
