Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Guess you just can't get tired of nature. And I love that song, Under The Boardwalk. Brave picture, leaning over the side.... Aloha

I had taken a picture of under the bridge with an idea I got from Jocko. Locked my camera on my monopod, set the time and lower the camera under the bridge. Just don't drop the camera as accidents can happen. Excellent shot. Aloha

How interesting I would never have thought of taking such a shot, and it really works. This water scene is really beautiful, with its amazing colour. Excellent :o) xx
