Description

Ok, I will not show you 200 photographs of the River Procession (in fact, maybe…) but to give you an idea of this enormous event. You saw the Royal Barge, which carries Holly Buddhas, but there are thousands of boats, small, large, average, on the Inle Lake. The most beautiful are the Honnor Boats, who follow the Holy Barge, with hundreds of oarsmen. Now, imagine all this world that moves sine 5 am to 5 pm across the lake, goes to one temple to another. People wear their more beautiful cloths, the ethnic minoritys their typical clothing. It´s one of the most fabulous events that I seen of all my life. In land there is a big festival with almost an assembled city, with any kind of handicrafts, souvenirs, religious objects, an enormous fair. It´s difficult to believe that in a world where all and everyone become the same in all countrys, a tradition like that to still survive. GOOD NEWS! OUR FRIEND RICHARD IMPROVES A LOT HIS KARMA. THE PHOTO YOU SEE WAS WORKED BY HIM. RICHARD ACUMULATED MANY MERITS FOR HIS NEXTS LIFES, WHICH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT CONCERN FOR BURMESE PEOPLE.
