I am a keen animal lover so most of my art does include animals. I was always to be found sketching or painting animals from a very young age, and so after work then marriage, and raising 3 children, then breeding and showing dogs in the UK and Europe plus my animal photography, I got back into art again but this time digitally.
Digital art for me began with photography, my son Steve Pinchbeck (predatron) loved it and introduced me to Renderosity, and in fact joined me16years ago (now2020). Gradually I moved into mixed medium, and photo-manipulation and eventually digital fine-art. I use Adobe PS CS4 extended, and hand paint using Wacom Intuos Pro tablet & pen.
I love realistic art and strive to achieve this when painting, because of this I use photos of animals when I paint, for reference. Many of my own photos are of cats and especially of dogs. I often visited zoos too for the wild animal photography, but also have a few cat and dog breeder friends who allow me to photograph their treasured animals. Many thanks to some friends also who are amazing photographers who allow me to use their wonderful photos of wild animals for reference.
My art features in many household items and also artworks in my Redbubble store. https://www.redbubble.com/people/JaneEden/shop?asc=u
I do love it here and have made friends with some wonderful people and amazing artists.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my gallery or my Renderosity store, I do so appreciate it.
I would like to thank everyone who has purchased products from me, I hope you are enjoying creating some wonderful art with them.
Best of wishes to everyone ! :D xx

Very good stop action with clarity. The touch of blatant outrageous color in the feathers is a show-stopper. It is excellent quality. I am a bit off balance with the placing of the subject, not that it should be centered - it shouldn't be but I would have liked to have seen the full head and both ears. Its really excellent and the black background is great.

Very cute and nice technique

A lovely action shot and I think your feather duster has been played with a lot by the look of it. Amy really looks to be enjoying this game. The splash of colour looks great.

I get what you mean MrsLubner, and welcome any advice. Ordinarily I would agree with what you are saying if it were a cat that was sleeping perhaps. But you try playing with a kitten while she is laying on your knee, then holding the feather stick in one hand and the camera in the other, trying to keep the camera still at the same time, and also trying to get the kitten to face you with the right expression on her face - a bit tricky LOL :o)) So sorry about the missing ears, but I am so happy you like the rest of the image, being as it is never an easy task when taking photos of moving animals, but is very rewarding when once in a while a photo turns out to be clear and not blurred - ;o)) xx Thank you to everyone for your wonderful comments, I did feel a bit proud of this one ...

Yes, it would be most convenient having three hands in photographing an event like this. Nevertheless, you did a masterful job capturing your fur ball in action. I like the intensity of the eyes and the clarity, textures and lighting in this shot.
