Description
I took this photo yesterday afternoon within the city limits of Roslyn, Washington. For fans of the television series Northern Exposure (which ran in the 1990's), yes, this is the location where they filmed then portrayed to be Cicely, Alaska. Tomorrow I intend to post the photo shot immediately prior to this one, which was the cause of the does pausing and turning to look in my direction. ©2007, Windchime Photography.

A breathtaking moment. I used to have a couple acres up in the hills and we built a cabin on one end. I put up a hammock next to it and would lay there during the day and enjoy the peacefulness. The cabin was built only 8 feet from a well worn deer path and twice a day from 3 to 5 deer would pass only a few feet from me. It always made me suck in air when they did that. This reminds me of those days. Outstanding shot.

Great picture, really nice. Black tail, here we have white tail, and they wave them like flags when they run to warn all the other deer within eye shot. Todd
