Description

Sorry 'bout the title...it was the only one that came to mind. LOL Here's Christopher in front of one of the KC-135's 4 engines. He's about 4'-3" (I think...been a while since we measured him), just to give you a sense of scale here. Turns out they probably should have had people stationed out here with the engine. As we were entering the aircraft, people behind us in line had kids actually climbing up into the engine there for pictures much to the dismay of the airmen on board who promptly shooed them out. Happy Monday. Hope at least some of you got the holiday today. Oh...and I almost forgot...not only is it Columbus Day for me, but it's Thanksgiving for all our Canadian friends, so Happy Thanksgiving to y'all...eh? :D John

Hm...ok...probably should have cropped that other kid out...just noticed him. LOL Like having the wheels on the other side though, and like the engine centered, so I'm not doing it. :D

Good advice, even if you, personally, think the title isn't all that much. A bit humorous too. grin Man, you have a cute kid. Great shot! I like the kid being on the side also. Balances out the wheels on the other side.

Retrofited with turbofans it is the 707 airframe. There have been documented cases of people being sucked into the this type of engine not following directions and several incidences of aircraft being flipped by the jet blast.
