Description

None of the staff members at the cajovna (tea house) Siva speak English. Usually when you're given a bound menu, in Czech OR in rakishly poetic English, you have to just smile and point to make your order. It doesn't matter though, because you get good service (sometimes with sound effects to make up for the absence of a common language) or nodding laughs when you attempt to speak Czech (horrendously). Tomas (Tomaz--you can spell it both ways apparently) is one of the more musically inclined steff members there. He speaks, Czech, obviously, but also Hungarian and German, and he plays drums and dijeredoo (I know I spelled that wrong) and he's also VERY friendly. He's also one of those people in Prague who makes a touching impression that sticks with you. *** The original photo was a bit dark, with the exception of Tomas' incredibly crystalline glasses, and so I tweaked it a bit in photoshop and despackled/diffused/blurred it a bit to enhance the ambient shadows. Oh, and yeah, it's another one of those "dream/memory images" I said I was done with. :-) *** As always, thank you for viewing and commenting and have a fantastic week!
