Hello to all!
This shot is a bit of the cheat. I did not captured a bark of the tree, this is actually what was I find under the hard crast. Little bugs makes these curly mess on the tree body. No, I did not strap a tree I find it like this in a forest.

Fabulous colors, clarity and lighting in this amazing capture of an amazing tree trunk, T! I just can't believe that is natural texture. It looks all the world as if someone took a narrow wood chisel and gouged up and down and around the bark. In any event, a splendid shot!

This one looks like it would make a great subject for a "rubbing" - you know, when you put a piece of paper over it and rub with the crayon. Really great texture and perfect capture!
