Ha! Cool! Looks like the beginnings of the affliction described in Stephen King's short story "I Am the Doorway" from the book "Night Shift." Anyway, my only criticism is that the eye looks flat, not protruding at all. Perhaps try leaving some of the eyelid and use Curves in Photoshop to match the skin tone to the tone of the hand. Then blend the two together with the dodge tool. That's just my 2 cents. :)
