Description

In Northern Minnesota towards the end of autumn, when the trees are in full fall bloom and the northern winds start to cool the air, mother nature occasionally gives a surprise of a few days of summer weather again before winter. We call this "Indian Summer." I can remember when I was 9 years old, on one of those occasions, sitting down by the lake, surrounded by autumns colours, feeling the warmth of the blue sky and sun and smelling the scent of the crystal blue lake. During those moments all seemed right with the world. That was 50 years ago since I have had that experience, but I still remember that day. If only then was now. This is my feeling image of Indian Summer. I'm not expecting many to like this here but what's important is I did this for me.

Hey from Arkansas! I managed to get online at last, and seeing this was worth the effort! I do like it, and your explanation of it! Great colors, and I like the watery look to it too. The texturing reminds me of watercolor paper. Nice work!

What a lovely thought for the day and a gorgeous abstract! We used to go to Minnesota at all times of the year, but I agree, fall is special. Splendid work. Bunny
