Description

This is a ship I'm designing based on a number of various ships i'm attempting to blend into one. It's not finished by any means and I'm not sure who I'm going to direct sales towards. Anyway, back to the point. What do you guys think? It needs some armaments as well, so I gatta fit those in somewhere. Thoughts? Suggestions?

It looks amazingly complex. Have you worked out color schemes or have you gotten that far? There are four domes with gears at the bottom that are a clear mystery as to what they are for. In most spaceships, it (in my opinion) is easy to see what functions the various segments have, even if comprehending indirectly. I'd suggest making these four a bit clearer.

just hover engines really, originally it was going to be a ship that was planet side, no space side. as for colors? no, just in the raw geometry design at this point. can view more images of this ship at: http://xero-web.net/gallery/Kazsrahk

Excellent conceptual work...I'd love to see how this progresses! I'm guessing that this is a fairly massive structure, but it has what you describe as hover engines, which implies that this gorgeous thingie is capable of atmospheric entry and can withstand the fairly high stresses involved in leaving hover mode and going elsewhere! I'm wondering though, if this could actually be a colony vessel of some sort. Oh, the possibilities are actually endless, but I'd love to see later stages of this work as it's quite interesting in and of itself. I'm also curious about the fictional story behind it. It's great work!

That is a huge looking model. I think you need to do away with the two vertical cylinders in front. They make it look like a steamboat.
