Description
"Although the asteroid wasn't really heading for Earth, Sahrait saw their chanse to once and for all win the battle between them and Nabal. They had had heavy losses and was on the edge of loosing the whole thing.
Sahrait's plan was to change the course of the asteroid so it would hit directly on Nabal. What they didn't know was that the asteroid would probably vaporize the whole planet.
Nabal realized this but lacked the technology required to change the course once more, and to proud to ask Sahrait for help so they came up with an escape plan.
Years before the war started, Nabal had been building a large ship that would transport a big crew to a "nearby" planet which had potential for life. Now the only hope of humanity was in completing that ship and escape with as many humans as possible. Only two weeks before imapact, the ship named "Selem" was completed. It could carry 20000 "passangers". Nabal had developed a techonoly which could freeze down people in pods for hundreds of years. This would mean that the forzen people would not get any older nor need any food or anything else.
3 days before impact, Selem's engines started. The crew who was still awaken watched with pain in their hearts how the enormous asteroid crashed into Earth in a huge cataclysm...
Selem's travel would take 170 years and the goal was the water planet Jin-Qui."
For those who have read the story behind some of my other pictures "Mehl's adventures" and "Fleeing the Dawn", here's some background to those pcitures.
I just completed a short-story (for a school project) about the planet "Jin-Qui". I just love making up these kinds of things :)
