Description

The War of the Worlds After the events on Horsell Common the narrator takes his wife to safety. On his way back home is starts to rain and lightning lights ups the countryside for miles around. The horse spooks and ends up in a ditch ("its neck broken, poor brute.") As the narrator tries to sort himself out another lightning flash gives him his first view of the Martians! I built the Martian Fighting Machines in TS4, based on the old marvel versions. The narrator (he is there) is M3, while the cart is also TS4. The horse is an old Poser animal posed in D|S. Trees are a mix of Bryce and DAZ 3D. Tons of post work. Since this is about a year old, I hadn't quite got lightning figured out. If I was to redo this it would be better, but I like this one all the same. Hope you do too. Iain
