Berlin, 30th September 2007 - And the winner is - HAILE GEBRSELASSIE from Ethiopia, the quickliest man on earth! What is such an event without a winner? Here he is, the small man in the middle with the red t-shirt - on his way to the world champions title. For the whole distance he needed only 2:04:26 hours, so he broke the title from 2003. This is the reason, why I told you this story. There a many marathon routes, many of them famous as the one from New York for example, some of the cities are very beautiful, but Berlin is the one with the highest speed, and THIS is the route where champions were born and others were killed. All records of the last years were created here, in the dirty old streets of Berlin. The reason is clear: Berlin has no hills, only straight ahead running and running and running.....
