Description

FE & PS Hi all... A little mood...(it rather suits my own these days)...via some fantasy nature play which reminded me of the prismatic haziness of dust storms rolling in over the mountains when I lived out in Arizona years ago. Beautiful things...well...except for the sensation that dust permeated absolutely everything...even seeping indoors at times through the tiniest of cracks and crevices 'round the windows of the house. I loved watching them, but have to admit they weren't the most conducive to things like...breathing. Still, powerful, mesmerizing, and altogether beautiful happenings to watch the orange tinted haze moving quickly toward you from the distance...descending on an area so quickly...and blurring everything in its path. Hoping that these words find each of you well. I keep promising that I WILL catch up with comments..and yet that work thing just never seems to let up long enough for me to mentally regroup. Surely, one of these days this pace has got to give, right? In the meantime, my heartfelt gratitude for your comments on stuff that's come before...and for the favs. You touch my heart..and always keep me dabbling and striving. Hugs, thoughts (yes, even in silences), and wishes for a peaceful remainder of the week... Note to self: Generally a good idea if you post the right version of an image...duh... :P Nancy~*

Though we don't have dust storms here in Sweden, Your image gives me such a vivid inner image of how it come rolling. It is so lovely, the spiral, and the colors are so beautiful, but I can imagine it is not agreable to get dust in everywhere. Not being able to breathe freely fills me with a slight panic. Like any strong nature force it fills you with double feelings. Admiration and fright.

Lovely atmosphere! Fantastic colors 'n' details! I can't imagine a wind storm like that. The worst things we get here are smoke from Mexico and dust from Africa. They merely color our sunrises/sunsets. lol q-: Lovely work! (:
