This is gorgeous. The way the focus aids the feeling of the petals radiating outwards adds an extra dimension to this shot, plus I like how you've positioned the center of the flower towards the upper-left corner -- it reminds me of a sun.

Beautiful macro! This is just gorgeous. It's a daisy - perhaps some sort of Gerbera? Macros are excellent for art, but not so great for plant identification. I'll take the artistic vision over a positive ID any day, though. Awesome photo!

I was thinking it might be a macro of a mum. As Tara says, macro are brilliant for art's sake but not so good for identifying plants. I like a full shot of the flower and including a leaf. This is a gorgeous macro. Very nicely done.
