Description

These were the days! When car manufacturers really cared for thier customers. The tool kit is almost as big as the car. Thank you for looking, as always any comments or suggestions welcome 8~) **Best Viewed Full Size**

A friend of mine used to have an Austin Seven but he didn't have all this in his tool box, I think the previous owner must have kept most of it. I am talking of 1969 though so I imagine quite a bit got lost. I know he did not have the AA key for sure, we had to push it home once but it was only half a mile. Nice shot David and brought back memories of a departed friend. Bravo!!!!!

Well, not so much here when you think about the size of the tool kit you would need these days to fix a car yourself. I don't think all that stuff would fit in the trunk (boot) of the vehicle...you have to have so many diagnostic machines just to figure out which computer sensor is going out! Interesing assembly of tools here and very interesting.

Really cool, before I read your caption I was trying to figure out what the kit was for. I had guessed a bicycle repairman except for the jack and the spark plug removers. Then I thought maybe small engine repair except for the jack. I guess I should have known an Austin Seven was a car, but I did not. :) Really nice picture and that is a cool emergency light. Todd
