Description

Another bit of pottery from Marsha's house. This is actually a piece I bought for her many, many years ago as a divorce present. I took this picture in the middle of the night, in the kitchen, by the light of the overhead stove lamp. Then I postworked the heck out of it to bring the colors back to normal and get rid of most of the yellow from the low-wattage incandescent lightbulb. It was kind of a fun process. I wouldn't want to use that technique all the time - it's so much easier to just shoot in good light!

have you ever taken a bowl of napolen ice cream and mixed it up real good getting it to the point of starting to get all meltie. that is what this reminds me of. You do amazing work my artist friend.
