Description

EDIT: i feel a bit gross about the "photographer suffers vertigo" joke now, sorry about that. changed the title (i hope the new joke is ok, i'm sorry it's not funnier). This is almost the same shot as this, except that I tilted the camera. Really similar so normally I wouldn't post it but I figured some of you might get a kick out of revisiting the stormy cloud shots one last time. Thanks for your comments on "grass plank". I have been feeling awfully dry lately so I'm grateful for the praise. Don't know how much longer it'll be before you guys get a really great shot out of me, though.

Well, you almost can't tell it's tilted, if you look at the tree in the front. Or maybe I'm just use to looking at everything sideways.. lol. Either way, it's a great shot. Thanks for sharing. :o)

2 different days, mimicking your post work exact, they aren't the same trees in the same place? i can only assume you went back in time and took another shot. i love, Love, i Love the blue and green. i love it, love it. the last time you were drunk and writing your commentary you wanted to know where you cross the line with postwork. if there is a line, this picture walks straight down the middle of it which is extra rad because i have to stare at it for a second before i say "waiiiit a minute. she dicked with the colors." and to stare at such a beautiful work of Mama Nature without noticing the postwork is too groovy for me to keep typing.

I love how you take what could have been treated as a more ordinary landscape and kick it up into an almost abstract composition. The strong diagonal is very appealing to my eye. You have a very unique way of looking at things. Nice job! wb

This looks quite different from this angle and these clouds look very stormy. Very creative.

Cool shot! I like it, when people try out new things: Tilting the camera would be very easy, but not many photographers do it - you did, and the shot looks great! I think it gives the scene a kind of dramatic touch! The colors are great aswell - very dark clouds at the back and lovely green trees and grass! Great shot, very well done! P.S. Thanks ever so much for the really nice comment you wrote on my "Soft Landing"!

The different perspective makes me think of roling around on the grass when i was a kid. Indeed a dizzying and lovely effect!
