Got to this little guy just before he took off from my porch railing. I got close for the shot, and in the next instant he was squatting, stretching his wings out, and took off from the railing. :o) Was great timing, even if I say so myself. lol. This picture was taken using my Samsung Digimax S500 with the macro setting. The only postwork was crop and resize. :o) Thanks for looking. ~Row.

Fantastic timing, I'd say and a really fabulously detailed shot. I love the way you were able to capture both color and texture in so short a span of time, since your model apparently had a pressing appointment elsewhere! Great work!
