Description
A shot of the massive amount and size of Driftwood that gets washed up on the beaches along the pacific coast of Vancouver island. This shot was taken from Wickanninish beach and is part of the 15km stretch of beach known as long beach near Tofino. Behind the beach is mainly wild pine forrest.
Cheers... Shaun.

We have some areas like that here. In fact, we have a few lakes that have coves filled like this. With the water levels rising and falling so dramatically from year to year, the pines that come down in storms, etc. will float around on the natural currents until they are funneled onto a section of shore. Fabulous shot. I had a cousin, who up until a year ago, lived in Comox and I got some wonderful shoreline shots from her over the years. :-)
