Nice setting and pose. definitely has potential - but: Try not to use the flash - it just flattened all the features you should want to bring out in a face. If you do use a flash soften it with some tissue paper wrapped over it for a better portrait style quality of lighting - you should really rely on natural lighting when outside / when you can. Also for this shot where the scenery counts for part of the attraction of the photo, try putting the model to the side of the shot, not dead centre, so that there is something of the background to soak up. Hope that helps :)
