This is done similarly to my Village with gravel/cobblestone roads but in this case I displaced the ground up as well as the path down and used a 'stencil' type map of the same image for grass and tree placement....could be better but as the title says it's just a test of technique. Thanx for looking in and as always...comments most welcome.. ...

I had no idea terragen could even do anything like this. Quite nice, except for the black patches on the grass. Better if they were brown/yellow.

Yup Bone...but it is a test...the grass could have been denser is the problem there, and I also have a problem with the tiling on the tree trunks...for some reason XFROG's uv mapping doesn't always make sense in TG2TP.. ...
