Description

This was taken from the bridge where Brenda and I wanted to be married. We wished for a day with a light snow cover but not too cold. Unfortunately, it seemed, it was not to be. The wedding was postponed a bit and the weather was a little warmer and rainy. The ceremony was moved to a small pavilion nearby - not the bridge but charming nonetheless. But then, on the day of the event as we were setting everything up, snow began to fall. It was just for us so it seemed, and so I choose to believe. It continued throughout the ceremony and for an hour or so afterward leaving three or four inches on the ground. It was perfect. I don't know the real name of this stream, if it has one, but it will always be Chapel Stream to us. Though we didn't get to say our vows on the bridge we still think of this as our Chapel and visit it two or three times a week, especially when it snows. This shot was taken yesterday so there was, of course, no snow, but it's just as pretty no matter the season. Thanks for Looking! Ken

Aw geez, Kenny! the stream is beautiful and the overhanging growth does give it an intimate and romantic feel but you know me... putting all that aside, I really want to know about those little white flowers! they seem so delicate and that little natural bunch of them bending over the water's edge makes me think they were begging to be noticed. :-) Next time you are there, see if you can get a macro of some of them, please?
