Description

this is a highly endangered wild cat, it is the clouded leopard. this shot was taken at a private zoo in england. they are notoriously hard to breed and so conservation is difficult. as you can see their coat is a mixture of spots and stripes and is a gorgeous colour. it is found mainly in the himalayas, northern india and china and its latin name is neofelis nebulosa and is roughly 3 feet 6 inches longand weighs up to 50lbs. i think they are a gorgeous cat and long may they live. jayne

lovely image and didn't realise we had any here in the UK, albeit in a private zoo. They are beautiful creatures, thanks for sharing and lets hop that the future is bright for them.
