Description
The staff of the highland wildlife park were suprised a few months ago by the birth of several wildcat kittens. The enclosure is very low light in a corner of a wood so it was tricky to get any pics. This youngster was sat on top of a small tunnel waiting for one of the adults to emerge so it could make surprise pounce.

Awww what a wonderful capture, and although she/he is a wildcat, it reminds me of a half ferral cat I rescued years ago, who was similarly marked. We called her Cinders because she was found in a coalbunker, and after many months of patience became the most loving sweet cat I have had the pleasure to share my life with. Thank you for sharing this great shot with us. xx

And again I'm amazed how close these little ones are to our normal cats. What a lovely little critter - and how lucky you where to be able to get this photo of this animal!
