Kinda reminds me of space invaders with the colours etc. I feel green always suggests aliens and alien atmospheres, Cool render.

I was thinking exactly the same thing as Chris Poole. The aircraft remind me of the enemies from Space Invaders, from their overall shape to their "faces". With their red cockpit lights and green searchlights, they have a half-insect/half-arachnid quality to them. As for the other machine in the image, you can't miss how powerful it looks. A true homage to War Of The Worlds or The Tripods if there ever was one. I can easily visualise it, moving slowly through the urban surroundings, towering over buildings and destroying vehicles or structures, while its top half slowly rotates round in whatever direction it needs to centre its array of guns.
