Fundamentally we humans seek to find order in a chaotic world. Repetition tantalises for it implies an underlying order. Fractals turn repetition into a leaning towards chaos for they are difficult to constrain within the limits of a picture frame. Indeed, they very often suggest their continuance might be infinite. Is that a bad thing? there is no answer to that, but it is always interesting to see how someone with a matured means of artistic expression meets the challenge. We evaluate, learn, and possibly expand our ability to appreciate. Your decision to keep the colours simple enables the pattern(s) to show the more clearly, while your relaxed approach to the picture edges (top and bottom) provokes thought and is appreciated.
