Description

Gary was kind enough to allow me to snag one of his wonderful images to use as a texture in my 3-D work. To see the original photo, click here This is just a simple one-texture, two-light setup, everything done in Blender. I love the way Gary's photograph behaved as a 3-D texture, and I'll undoubtedly use it again later on!

Wow........without the least understanding of these techniques, your planet is very striking! I am so impressed.

Well, that sure isn't our own neighboring moon. From what distant galaxy was that photo taken? "Our instruments detect no life forms, captain!" "Alright, Mr Spock, we'll send down an away team to explore for any minerals. But, just in case, put your phasers on stun." Back on earth, great clarity, textures and lighting in this shot, Tara!
