Long time no scare or posts to my favorite site, I am so busy with different pro-jects now I have had little time to do what I love, "themed images". However this little pre Halloween treat is from an old idea that I have been reworking and because of someone special that liked it. For years now John V. has been going to a memorial park on Halloween where many famous musicians are buried to pay tribute to a particular guitarist in case you did not know, it's the infamous Astier. So in one sense you could say John carries a torch for Astier, actually he brings jack-0-lanterns each year in hopes of bringing him back to teach the secrets of music that only he could. Though every year was always uneventful, he would return the following year to sit and pay tribute, which actually was more like listening to the sounds of the night than a musical event. However this year something was different, he couldn't figure it out at first, but as he came back with the last lantern in hand he felt a chill. The strangest thing began to happen, music started, it sounded like a guitar, more truthfully the melodies of which he adored, the music of Astier. The giant Oak suddenly transformed into him. His eyes appeared and the branches began to turn into hands. The Fog swirled into the form of a guitar. Stunned John turned his eyes to the tree and froze almost passing out from what he saw --- it was him. Just remember sometimes you don't get what you wish for right away, it takes time.
