What a typical English image, dear Diane! I am glad you were inspired to take these two doors, the whole scene is a good blending of house-building tradition and modern tastes. I find this , again, typically English and I love it. Thank you for sharing and French bizzz (or bises!).( was absent from RR a whole week and find it hard to catch up too :-) )I'll come again to your gallery...Bonne nuit Diane ! JL

This is an utterly fantastic shot, Diane...it actually reminds me of one of my longstanding dreams. When I was a lot younger, I'd seen the Beatles movie...I can't even remember which one, but they all lived in ONE house that was actually a row of townhouses with the separating wall removed inside...so in short, they went into ONE home through four different doors. Since then I've always wanted similar living arrangements with friends and my created family, and this shot reminded me of that. Anyway, back to the shot...I love it. You've captured such vivid colors and peaceful earth tones. I love the crispness of it as well, and the whole composition rocks! You've captured (and created) a warm and inviting mood! Great shot! Great work! Big hugs from way over here.

I think I would pick the yellow first and then the blue but what a wonderful name for a street, so cheerful. A lovely capture of these interesting doorways.

The yellow one of course. I bet the people there are as sunny as the door's color. Good shot.
