Description

Spikie went to Heaven today. He was three years old. Yesterday he hurt himself doing his favorite thing - running with his cookie. Daddy took him to the vet today and Spike's spine was damaged. Even with surgery he would never be able to walk. Spikie went to Heaven today. He was three years old. I'm devistated www.gypsywagon.us

Sublime image and tribute to your beloved Spikie, Diane. I love the heavenly colors and flow. I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost our Bubba a couple of years ago. For me "doggie heaven" is real.

Oh dear, I am so sorry for your loss. To have to say goodbye to a dog just three years old is so unexpectably hurtful. My heart goes out to you, I know how it feels to loose someone so young. Hugs!

Diane; almost two years ago we lost our 'Cookie' after having her for 13 years. I found a piece that should comfort you. It goes like this: To My Beloved Master I stood by your bed last night; I came to have a peep I could see that you were crying; you found it hard to sleep. I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear “It’s me, I haven’t left you, I’m well, I’m fine, I’m here”. I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea, You were thinking of the many times, your hands reached down to me. I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key. I gently put my paw on you; I smiled and said “It’s me”. I was with you at my grave today; you tend it with such care. I want to reassure you, that I am not lying there. Tonight you looked so very tired, and sank into a chair. I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there. You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew… In the stillness of the evening, I was very close to you. And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide, I’ll rush across to greet you and we’ll stand, side by side. I have so many things to show you, there is much for you to see. Be patient, live your journey out… then come home to me.

The memories will remain for a long time, but the tears will eventually cease. So sorry. No more pain or injury in doggie heaven.

Oh no. I am so so sorry. I lost my Tyson this year, too. He was 14. I am slinging snot over choronr's poem. It just isn't fair that they leave us so soon. I still step over the place where he laid sometimes. It feels like he's still there. I know you will miss him for a long time. Big soft squishy hug to you, hon. I wish I could say something to help.

Oh, Diane, I'm so terribly sorry to hear about your loss of Spikie. You have my complete and total sympathy. Many of you may remember that just over a year ago I lost my little Maltese, and a day still doesn't go by that I don't miss him and think of him. My delay in posting is because my monitor died on Saturday, and today is the first day I've had one again. So I just read about your loss, and as I see from above, most of us have gone through this hideous experience. I wish I could give you a gigantic hug. You'll be in my prayers.
