Description

Vue 6 Pro - Photoshop Models & Textures by MrX3010 "There were no tears to cry and no heartfelt long good byes, on the day the children wept, when we broke the skies." This image is created with a custom destroyed building texture and model set I'm working on for Vue 6 Pro and up. Rendered out at final with heavy post work in Photoshop. I have been trying to produce a good ancient post apocalyptic image for some time now, I think this is the best so far. NOTE:I am not checking the violence filter as there is nothing violent about debris. In this image the violence ended millennia ago. I hope you all enjoy this one as much as I do, Ron

There is a paradox of the beauty of the atrociousness. For me I would have checked the button "Contains violence", but I understand you point of view. Really incredible and uncompromized professional quality. Do you know the recent work of Domi48 entitled "Mess" (one of this series, n° 2, was censored by the Renderosity managing team)? The "Mess" pictures have been done in Vue also, extremely interesting.

Thanks for the comment :) I was not familiar with Domi's image series until I had a look. I believe you will notice one important thing that separates our works. My definition of violence: Violence to me is blood and gore and physical acts portrayed upon another being. There is no human being, animal, etc in any of my shots these images are hundred of millennia after mankind's reign had ended there for do not contain violence, no bodies, no remains except rusting machines, and buildings and they were never alive to begin with. As I said in my last image on this, this is a technique and model set that I am going to make available to those who wish to be able to pull off images of this type. I have tried to get this right for years starting with Bryce in early 2001 with "All that Remains" Based upon a song I wrote. (see also http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=334777&member) I was close then but this is the best realism I have achieved so far IMO. Many thanks to all who helped along the way your going to love this.
