Description

Playing with the free image application "Context Free", available at www.contextfreeart.org If you like fractals and do not mind hand coding a bit, like PovRay or Apophysis, then this program may be a super addition to your art image toolkit. I feel the best way to learn "Context Free" is through forum posts and example code, as builtin program help is lacking substance. This image created by a heavily modified "mash up" of 2 code examples ( spirals and random angled arrows) and my own variational addins. I like the way my code results in a fairly flexible organic life like pose for the legs. I can now produce an amazing number of octopii (? correct plural?) images anytime they are needed. Dedication to Star4mation in honor of the way he always shares new art tools and resource tips, to quote him, "If it isn't free, I can't afford it." Post work with Irfanview. A beautiful fractal. The colors are lovely, reminds of sea creature you would find in the Caribe on a reef. Wonderful!

Cheers Mike! Its awesome!!! I've not used Context Free for ages. This octopus is superb and I love the way you have coloured it. My last attempt at coding resulted in a very large Furball which took forever to render!!! LOL :)
