Description

A fake poster. I saw a couple of KayPat's awesome mannequin photos on stock.xchng and couldn't resist. I don't think it's quite right, though -- I was going for a pulpy feel and sense I might have missed something. What do you think it is? And don't say "the text goes off the edge of the orange stuff" because I did it on purpose and I like it that way (ditto for the overly-saturated colors). Cheers! EDIT: One of the tags was a slur, so it's gone now. Sorry I didn't consider it before.

faaaaaaaaaaaaaaan-fuckin-tastic!!! i LOVE this poster! no! i'm IN love with this poster! thats the kinda style i strive for my own wee little student films to look. the colors, the genre, the drama, and the un-cheesy-ness. ya know? it doesn't look like an attempt. there's nothin wanna-be about it ya know? i look at it and i dont say "this artist is tryin to be somethin she's not" know what i'm sayin? but most of all, that woman and that mannequin with those colors is just perfect! and so simple. you didn't go overboard on it which makes it true to that Pulp genre and is very very effective as a lunatic mannequin. i adore the way you mix real life with science fiction or the extraordinary. there's a sophistication to it that entertainment just can't seem to grasp. cheesy bullshit is all they can get a hold of. entertainment needs you :) look at me goin on and on like a groupie. what it needs is wear and tear. maybe some old film scratches for the picture or make the poster look a little used with some wrinkles or cracks cuz Pulp stuff is never in good condition :)

Super work and I like the colours, they have impact. I feel she is very autocratic looking [not sure what that means but it came to mind], not pulpy.
