Racecourse of Auteuil (Paris) yesterday afternoon.
I'm very lucky to have 3 of the biggest racecourses in France at only a few minutes from home, Longchamp, Saint-Cloud and Auteuil. Yesterday the races were in Auteuil (the only one with hurdling.
It's also great for the children on Sunday, cause there are lots of free activities (carrousel, riding ponies and even cotton candy!
We had a wonderful afternoon there (and don't even bet on one horse, I was too busy taking pics!)

Congratulations on your 500th Laurence. What a wonderful achievement. Especially because all 500 are wonderful. Good luck with the new series. I'm sure it will be fabulous. This iimage is great. It reminds me of some of the pastels I've done of Degas'...I wonder if he went to one of those racetracks you mentioned. I have a feeling he did. Depuis le temps que je me dis qu'il faut que je visite un champs de course parisien, j'ai justement croisé une amie qui m'a dit qu'elle était à Auteuil ce dimanche !... Tes photos me donnent encore + envie d'y aller, comme Jérôme apparemment.
