I really like this bird's expression. He seems so proud and arrogant. He seems to expect all the attantion come to him.

Wow an amazing capture and I have never seen one of the these before. You can see how if sitting up in a tree he would merge into the background of the tree bark, a perfect camouflage. Excellent image!!!!

I'm also curious about what sort of bird it is. It seems owl related... but could just be the angle. Great shot though.

Very different type of bird indeed ! At first i thought that it was a wood carving ,but not so ! The bird blent right in also with stand ! You're right ! He does look a bit harrogant ! Well done my friend ,well done !
