Description

I made it to this place it been so many years ago I been here. I forgot and I sure they build a lot from then years i was not there. I was loseing the sun so I just got a few shots off. I talk to a man that comes here all the time and I learn there is miles of roads and lake i can expore. I be back here more often. Plus there the state flower place just 2 or 3 miles away I stop there on the way but it closed at 5 pm. I did get one shot there but the sun was almost gone there. Lot of trees there. I just have to pay a dollor to get into chicot park. It a real nice place and lot of camping places. it off season now so not too many people around. Boats to rent too. thanks for comments and for favorites too. looking too I thank you

This time of sundown is always startling. It seems to touch the trees with a golden finger, much like King Midas must have done, and turns them all to gold. A beautiful photo!

This is a lake here with bayous going off it. I not sure but the man say about a lovely place about four miles from where we was he fish most the time

I remember it was a fantastic place to go explore. My dad, mom and sister and I would go there on the weekends. I have not been there in 20 years now, I may plan a trip. Thanks for the photo.

OMG, this looks exactly like several of the shots I took over at El Dorado Nature Center in Long Beach, California! I called that series, Mirror Lake. I think I'll post some more of those. Anyway, great POV of the lake and its reflections, plus the lush colors of the background foliage.
