Description

Ok, much to my dismay I have to concede that summer has vanished. And I hear that some parts of the country are now experiencing snow. Brrrrrr!!! As much as I hate seeing summer leave I did manage to find this gorgeous flower still struggling to capture that last bit of warmth. It seems to be covered in a light dusting of frost on a cold morning that will soon melt away when the sun finds it. uf

Oh I know, summer has slipped away, and wonderful warm autumn days are gone! We got to see the very last remnants of wildflowers out at the Hollow, and I think I saw one very much like this! What a beauty this one is, with just that little bit of frost painted on it's petal tips! I think I detect faint traces of snow .. Oh I'm so happy you found this before the bitter winds took it away!
