Old Dutch (attn. JAACF)
Old Dutch, Heusden in the Netherlands.
After all the photo’s of the mighty Yosemite National Park, just as a break, an “Old Dutch” photo.
Yesterday we made a 20 Km (12,5 miles) walk around Heusden. It was a very nice sunny Monday in October (we just have an Indian Summer spell in Holland after a lousy summer).
It’s not the first time I have taken a photo of this scenery, but each time I’m in this little town Heusden, I can’t resist …………………
By the way, Heusden is more or less in the backyard of JAACS!!! And on the little dike (Zeedijk) between Drunnen and Doeveren we found yesterday a large number of “grote Parasol Zwammen” mushrooms “Macrolepiota Procera”. See one of the recent upload by Oskar, but no idea where he found his “parasol” for the photo!!
